William II-lliarris rfljilln Bill has two rather wild secret ambitions. He wants to go to Africa, and to walk across the San Francisco bridge. Right now radios, camping and sports occupy his time. Rutgers will get him next. Broadcaster 3, 45 Buy Scouts 2, 3, 4, Rifle Club 3, 45 Glider Club 3, -L George Hastings George frankly tells us that he likes to loaf. Don't let this carry too much weight in estimating him, as he has many other qualities more valuable than a love of sleep. Camera Club 4. Robert Heath rrljobv Bob is very active in sports and activities about the school. His keen mind and energy should carry him a long way in his engineering course at Cornell. Service Club 3, 4, Basketball Manager 3, 45 Basketball Squad 25 Baseball Squad 2, Broadcaster 3, 43 Student Council 3, 43 Boy Scouts 2, 3, 4g Class President 3. Richard Heiimrotlu rPDick12 Millburn High School sent us this curly-headed lad two years ago, and welve never been sorry. He usually was in evidence at tea dances, did some track work, some acting- in other words, versatile without being loud about it. Dramatic Club 25 Track 2, 4. Merrill Heimmriion Merrill's quiet good humor, combined with an unusual mechanical skill, has made him popular in corridor, classroom and shop. There is some Holland Dutch in this boy, by way of Morris Plains-it must be a good combination. Gertrude Hem-y Gert Gert is noted for enjoying herself, and is very anxious to get out of school-so she says. Upon leaving she will try to secure a position, and We hope she gets one worthy of her abilities. George A. Hen-utlelt Hide George hails from the quaint village of Cedar Knolls. He hopes to realize his secret ambition of becoming very rich and prosperous in the near future by devoting much of his time to salesmanship.

Matthew Graham rrMats: Mat always has a wisecrack for you. He spends his spare moments riding horses, and can usually be found on the third floor-not on a horse, however. He saves those for after school. John Joseph Grassi Iob11v1y Johnny is interested in Bnance. His pet ambition is to become a musician. Wluetluer a musician or financier, you can be sure that he will climb high in either field. Thomas Gregory Tom Tom is an ideal athlete. Above all, his achievements on the gridiron will long be talked about. Considered one of the best backs in the county, he most assuredly will go places in later years. Football 4g Football Squad 3. Vincent Edward Groppi jimmy Jimmy is interested in Hnance, but also in a young lady who plays an accordion quite well. He can be found on the senior stairs whenever needed. Student Finance Board 4. i Walter Gunther Walt Walter is a smiling, good-natured fellow, who says he spends his odd moments sleeping. Nevertheless, he's going to military school, and has a secret ambition to travel. George Everett Hall r'CIH'lj'v Curly is usually seen in the middle of a bunch of merry fellows. He is seldom quiet, but never boring. Much of his free time is used in making items of leather goods, in which pursuit he is very skilful. Dramatic Club 4g Camera Club 4. Frieda Hanft PFFTB!! Frieda intends to do some traveling after she graduates. We're glad that she didn't leave us to do it before. Her friendly spirit should be a help in her ambition to work as a typist. Loy Harman Dusty The school will certainly miss Dusty when baseball season arrives. His cheerful disposition is just what it takes to be a good sport, and a good sportsmen. His friendly and good- natured spirit will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Joe Hfollllmeyer Joe has led a happy, carefree life at M. H. S. His sly, droll humor has kept us looking at the funny side of life. Evelyn E. lHIilblba11rdl What would we have done without Evclyn's boundless energy and many talents? Her encouraging grin has been invaluable. Ilrilickerson ffB0bJD Bob is one of our most active boys, especially in clubs and school organizations. He has always wanted to manage a successful dance in M. H. S. Bernice Higgins Bing Bing believes in just getting through. She is such a little bundle of dynamite and pep that everyone acclaims her as a good sport. To become an author is the height of het ambitions, and she intends to study journalism upon leaving M. H. S. Dramatic Club 2, 3, 43 Press Club 4g Debating 33 Archery 43 Hi-Y 3, 4. Allda Elizabeth Hiijpjplle Belle Bette wants to be a dental assistant when she finishes school.
