Sallie Epps Sallie has a placid maturity that makes the capers of some of her classmates appear childish. Her Calm outlook on life is an asset that will be just as valuable after graduation as it has been in M. H. S. llallpla William Esxtevez frBillJ! This suave, cultured gentleman has distinguished himself by a resemblance to the typical Spanish Senor. Bill hopes to have a seat on the New York Stock Exchange, and if he continues to keep up his good work he will surely get it. Football 45 Football Squad 2, 3. Lloyd Estleir Lloyd is Mr. Eaton's mainstay-he can make any machine in the shop sit up and behave. Mechanics is his main interest, and he likes to skate. He says little, but he gets things done. Shop Foreman 3, 4. William Estler Bill Here's a real fanatic-and radio is the reason. Popeye knows his tubes and oscillators, and if enthusiasm means any- thing, the world will get a good radio engineer when M. H. S. loses one. M,ariion Falzarano This dark-eyed young lady has personality-unobtrusive, but very attractive just the same. She is a gift to M. H. S. from the outlying district of Stirling, and represents a strong argu- ment for more non-resident pupils in our student body-if they're all like Marion. W.altier Faniolt ffvmw Walt', never seems to have much to say. He hails from Wliippany, and maybe this accounts for his quietness. He likes to play basketball, and he can play well. Basketball Squad 2, 3. Constance Farino Connie A basket! It's Connie,' again, displaying her remarkable athletic ability. Having become very popular by participating in many of the girls' activities about school, she has won a host of friends. Basketball 2, 3, 45 Track 2, 3, 45 Baseball 2, 3, 4: G. A. C. 2, 3, 4. Doris May Fauver MDl'Ffil'n She came, she saw, she conquered. From East Orange to Morristown came Doris with her cheery smile and friendly ways. XVe are more than glad to have had her in our class. Engineering's his goal, and he's got what it takes. Boy Scouts 3, 4. llifclaard Eggleston ffEgg,, This young academic student has his eye on M. I. T. for continuing his studies in the fall. Egg's interests are evenly divided among seasonal sports, and his fondest desire is to hold a pilot's license. Marjtorie Elmrlitcla Marge Marge is tops when it comes to friendliness and cheerful- ncss. She will long be remembered by her classmates, and lucky will be the college she attends. Chorus 2, 3. Emma Eiiicls Among '37's numerous madcaps, Emma is remarkable for her serenity and poise. But underneath there luzks a keen sense of humor and a quiet dependability that endeared her to her classmates. l Helen Eiielt This merry redhead is a bundle of energy-witness her activity in the various branches of girls' sports. Always cheer- ful, Helen never allows life's ups and downs to discourage her. G. A. C. 2, 3, 4, Track 3, 45 Baseball 2, 3, 43 Basketball 3, 4. Constance A. Ellett Co11nic Connie has optimistically smiled herself through school, making many friends on the way. Her short stature should not hinder her in achieving her ambition-to be a great scientist. Chemistry Club 3. Clyde Ely Clyde's ambition is to be an aeronautical engineer. This is hard to understand, as the Dramatic Club kept him so busy backstage that we thought he was bound for Broadway or Hollywood. Dramatic Club 2, 3, 4g Camera Club 45 Boy Scouts 2, 3, 4. Winifred Ensmiimgeir lVinnie XVinnie's good jokes and knack of dressing have done much to promote her popularity. With her friendly and in- teresting personality, she is one of the typical M. H. Mark Fllemiing Du ke Mark is Chester's gift to M. H. S. Duke says his spare time is taken up by dancing and parties. This cheerful lad's ambition is to enter the unusual vocation of mortuary research. Vivian Mary Flintron rrvin Always hurrying and scurrying around, Vi made her stay in M. H. S. a very active one. Because of her excellent effi- ciency she is sure to succeed in secretarial work. Student Finance Board 4. Minuaie lFllfoyel Minnie has been an outstanding student-keen, quick, and conscientious. She is just as popular with her classmates as she is with the faculty, and that's saying everything. Spiritual Choir 2, 3, 45 Hiking Club 3, 4. Edith IForidl Edith is a tall lass with a marvelous sense of humor. She plays golf and wants to raise racing horses, but is going into nursing when she graduates. A Cappella Choir 3, 45 Pro-Peace Club 45 Chemistry Club 35 Dramatic Club 2. Eva Feld As you can see by her list of activities, Eva has been cf- ficient and busy in high school. She has nevertheless found time to gain the friendship and admiration of all who have known her. Helen Ferguson Helen has been one of our most industrious members. What with music, commercial subjects, and domestic arts, her time has been fully occupied, and profitably too. She expects to do social service work after graduation. Spiritual Choir 2, 3, 4. Leonard Fiforoni nLl'1lHft'D Calm, serene, unruffled by the ups and downs of existence, Leonard's philosophy rises above life's petty annoyances. He has read widely in all branches of science-because he likes it. Franc es Louise Fisch B111lrI-yi Frances, a dainty, artistic miss, has ambitions to become a window designer. May she continue in college the good work she has done here, both in clubs and studies.
