ELIZABETH ANN McCARTNEY Whiz The girl with the sunny disposition. Laughing merrily, singing gaily, meeting life with sunny expectation, that is Whiz. She has just been with us a few months but her friendly personality has won her many friends. Here ' s hoping you keep this sunny disposition in the years to come, Whiz. ANNIE LAURIE MOORE Blondie Quality, not quantity is what counts. f ' nnie, the only true blond of our Senior Class always has a smile for eveiyone. She has a grand personality and is al- ways willing to help her fellow class- mates. We all wish her success and happi- ness throughout her future years. ROBERT AMORY MYERS Boe Friendship is a sheltering tree. Bob is a friendly, good-natured boy. He is well liked am ong students of Morrison High School. He will be missed by many when he leaves. We all look forward to his success. L RAYMOND EASTON PARKER Parker He came, he saw, he conquered. Raymond is an unusual student, a true friend, and a gentleman in every respect. He shows great ability in mathematics. Raymond is likely to go far in this old world and we wish him every possible success. PEARL PEACH Peaches A smile is the whisper of a laugh. Peaches is one of the cutest and molt popular girls in the Senior Class. Once you know her you can never forget her friend- ly smile and charming personality. Hu- morous, lovable, and witty, that ' s our Peaches of the ' 38 class. ELVA MARIE POINDEXTER Elva Once a friend always a friend. We have learned to appreciate Elva ' s jolly disposition and friendly manner. We feel that her pleasing personality will gain for her many acquaintances. Some day we hope to be proud of this classmate ' s achievement in the musical world.

DOROTHY BRACKENRIDGE LANGSLOW Dot Fair and sweet, charming to meet. Dot ' s friendly and sympathetic disposition has won a place in the hearts oi all her classmates. She is a good student, and a generous loyal friend. Dot, here s hoping that success and happiness will accom- pany you always! JACK MACLAY A.nd what he greatly thought, he nobly dared. Jack is a quiet boy with a bit of pleasing humor. Although he has been with us for only a short time Jack has become a great favorite. MARY OLIVE LANGSLOW Pink None knew her but to love Her, Nor name her put to praise. Mary, with her cheerful smile, spreads sunshine wherever she goes. Her induST trious quiet, and earnest nature will car- ry her a long way on the path of happi- ness and success. ADA VIRGINIA LAYMAN Quality, not quantity, is the true estimate of one ' s worth. Because of her pluck, good nature, and kind heart, Ada has won many friends. Although her future is yet unknown, we predict for her a happy and successful life. JAMES THOMAS LEICESTER, Jr. I. T. A friend to everyone. J. T. is kind and good-natured. He is al- ways ready to lend a helping hand. Hi has won a letter in football, and inci- dentally, many friends at Morrison High. ROBERT HAMILTON MATTOX Bob A man ' s a man for a‘ that. Although this is Robert ' s first year at Mor- rison, he has become very popular. He stands out in all his classes, especially history, and is believed to be one of our future statesmen. Besides being studious, Robert is always ready for fun.

AGNES STEVENSON POLLOCK Nancy Kindness is wisdom. A clever, dependable, popular girl, who not only majors in athletics but lessons as well. Best of luck, Scotchie ! JOHN SCHAFER Schafer Always a pal. Schafer is one of the friendliest boys in the Senior Class. He can make himself at home in any crowd and is not in the least bash- ful. Schafer gets along pretty well with his teachers but we don ' t think he cares much for certain subjects. MILDRED LOUISE ROGERS Billie There is a lady sweet and fine One of the sweetest girls of our Senior Class, that ' s who Billie is. She is surely a true friend and once you know her you will love her. We wish her success and happiness for the rest of her life. I MILDRED VIRGINIA SHENK Millie Silence accomplishes much that noise cannot. Miidred is a sensible girl with a lovable disposition. One has to know her to really appreciate her good qualities. We know that she is accomplished in the domestic arts and suspect she will really succeed in this worthy field of work. RUSSELL HOGGE ROWE Rut Watch him go places - especially in the world of sports. Rut is an excellent athlete. He received monograms for football, baseball, and bas- ketball. He is a good student, a cheerful associate, and a generous and loyal friend. Truly he will be a great loss to the dear old Alma Mater. Success to you. CHARLES SMITH, Jr. Smitty” Honor lies in honest toil. To a new-comer to Morrison Smitty ap- pears to be an excellent classmate. Thoughtful, courteous, and helpful to one unfamiliar to the ways of the school, Smitty will long be remembered and recognized as a worthy graduate of Mor- rison High School.
