EDWARD LEE IRBY Eddie Youth comes but once in a lifetime. Eddie is a friendly, happy-go-lucky young man, good-looking, and always ready for a good time. He will be success- ful in whatever he undertakes in the fu- ture. GEORGE WEBSTER KEANE Keane Ambition has no rest. Studious? Grade A work every time. Gar- rulous? The school will miss him when it has to buy extra coal next year to make up for the hot-air loss. Popularity, ambi- tion, and honor are his possessions. All in all, Keane is a progressive boy who should make a successful man. GARY JOYCE ' ' Gerrie Those who smile are smiled upon. Gerrie, with a cheery word and smile to everyone, has made many friends at M.H.S. He is a good student and a good sport, as well as a true friend. Besides having ability, he is energetic and am- bitious. Success to you, Gerrie. EILEEN KELLEY Kell Once a friend, always a friend. Songbird! Wow! And that isn ' t all! With her quiet dignity, and gentle, unassuming manner, she has crept into all of our hearts. Who knows but that some day she may startle us by her appearance in the operatic world? EDGAR BRUCE KASTELEERG Brucey The crown and glory of this life is character. This tall, dark, handsome, studious young man is everyone ' s friend. Bruce, we are sure success in life awaits you. JEAN LA FOY Jeannie Words of soften tone. Jean possesses an attractive smile and a delightful Hawaiian accent that we all love to hear. She ' s been with us only a year and a half, but she has won a place for herself in the heart of every Senior.

WELLFORD BROADDUS HAUGHTON Nuts 7 ' Never worry — let the other fellow do it. Broaddus will be remembered by his class- mates for his artistic ability. We really ex- pect him to succeed in the field of art . He has always shown good school spirit, and has, therefore, won many friends. EDITH GRACE HERTZLER Eats A merry heart doeth good like a medicine. Edith is blessed with an unusual store of energy. She is not easily influenced from her way of thinking. Open-heartedness, frankness, and straight-forwardness char- acterize her. Her good nature has won her many friends. MARY STUART HORNSBY Stuart A sunny disposition gilds the edge of life ' s blackest cloud. Stuart is a leader in classes and in more frivolous activities. We feel certain that Stuart ' s ability will get her far in the world. DAVID HENRY HOSTETTER Davy It ' s a friendly heart that has plenty of friends. Davy is a loyal friend indeed. His grand voice and friendly smile have won him many pals. He is a student surpassed by few. We see a fruitful life ahead for him. BILLIE ELIZABETH HUSBANDS Jake She has the charm of cheerfulness and good fellowship. Jake is one of Dixie ' s belles and uses that much admired Southern drawl. While she appears to be retiring in manner, her friends know her as one who is always genial and willing to lend a helping hand. DOROTHY FRANCES INGRAM Dot Let there be music, my feet won ' t keep still. Dot is practically a newcomer in our midst, but just the same she has made many friends here at Morrison. Dot is a good student. We know she will make good in whatever she undertakes.

DOROTHY BRACKENRIDGE LANGSLOW Dot Fair and sweet, charming to meet. Dot ' s friendly and sympathetic disposition has won a place in the hearts oi all her classmates. She is a good student, and a generous loyal friend. Dot, here s hoping that success and happiness will accom- pany you always! JACK MACLAY A.nd what he greatly thought, he nobly dared. Jack is a quiet boy with a bit of pleasing humor. Although he has been with us for only a short time Jack has become a great favorite. MARY OLIVE LANGSLOW Pink None knew her but to love Her, Nor name her put to praise. Mary, with her cheerful smile, spreads sunshine wherever she goes. Her induST trious quiet, and earnest nature will car- ry her a long way on the path of happi- ness and success. ADA VIRGINIA LAYMAN Quality, not quantity, is the true estimate of one ' s worth. Because of her pluck, good nature, and kind heart, Ada has won many friends. Although her future is yet unknown, we predict for her a happy and successful life. JAMES THOMAS LEICESTER, Jr. I. T. A friend to everyone. J. T. is kind and good-natured. He is al- ways ready to lend a helping hand. Hi has won a letter in football, and inci- dentally, many friends at Morrison High. ROBERT HAMILTON MATTOX Bob A man ' s a man for a‘ that. Although this is Robert ' s first year at Mor- rison, he has become very popular. He stands out in all his classes, especially history, and is believed to be one of our future statesmen. Besides being studious, Robert is always ready for fun.
