Dllllng. ln the 1958-59 season, the Cove Junior Varsity posted a 16-4 record. Our team was defeated once by each of the following: Altoona Catholic, Tyrone, Williamsburg, and Everett. Donald Smeltzer and Steve Park led the team in points with an average of 11 and 10 points per game, respectively. Don racked up 194. This year's team consisted of the follow- ing: D. Hoover, B. Metzler, G. Baker, M. Ger- hart, D. Bowman, W. Rhodes, C. Ritchey, C. Pheasant and B. Hampton. The great coaching ability of Mr. Hartman proved to be the right thing to keep the boys on top.
