U . , The Morris Board of Education purchased this 'Evening Sta School Building' at a public auction in Januay, l953. The brick, lumber, and other materials from the Evening Star Building will becomea part ofa new structure to be located along the north side of the football field at Morris High School. This new Morris Building will house the four Morris school buses, the Football dressing rooms, the Voca- tional Agriculture classes, and the Industrial Arts shops at Morris High School. Construction of the first unit of this new four-unit structure will be built this spring and summer. The head-stone seen in the picture will be used over a doorway, or double window in the new Morris Building. Football bleachers will be erected as a part of the sloping root of the new building.
