deilicsitioii . . )Q Jl N dedicating our college yearbook to d Harry Alvin Wallace we feel that the College is honored. Mr. Wallace is a business man of outstand- ing achievement. No resident of the capital city is more highly respected in business and social circles than Mr. Wallace. In early life he became identified with the oil and gas business in his native state of Pennsylvania. From a humble beginning in the business he has forged his way step by step to a place of national recognition. He is a past president of the Natural Gas Association of America. His social interests are represented, chiefly, by his membership in the Methodist Church, the Be- nevolent and Protective Order of Elks and Rotary International. Mr. and Mrs. Wallace are the parents of five children, two daughters, Mildred and Vir- ginia, and three sons, Harry, jr., Frank, and Robert. Harry, jr. and Frank, are associated in the work of the United Fuel Gas Company. While Mr. Wallace ' s life has been devoted to business activi ties he is a believer in edu- cation and the editors of the Harveyan count it a privilege to present him as a friend of Morris Harvey.
