MORRIS COLLEGE MOVING GOD HAS A SPECIAL PLACE IN HEAVEN FOR THE SMALL BLACK COLLEGE — Dr. Latta Thomas These words have a significant meaning to persons who are familiar with Morris College and the many other small predominatly Black institutions of higher education because it is from colleges like Morris that many leaders in our society began their normal and post-secondary education. Morris College realizes her relationship to the Black Community, and she strives to better herself in an effort to better serve her constituents. As a result each year many individuals enter her doors to learn and depart from them with the skills to serve our ever demanding society. Morris College is continuously moving “Upward and Onward in her endeavors to provide her students with the best possible educational experience.
