The Division of Social Sciences oilers courses in History, Geography, Sociology. Lconomics, and Government. Students of this department are active in the political, social, and cultural life of the college and community. This department aims to enable students to acquire functional information and basic understanding of cultural heritage, man’s interaction with Ins physical and social environment, and existing political and economical institutions, with special emphasis upon the institution of democracy. 'Division of ( c ucahon Tlio Division of Education at Morris College is designed to promote the development and growth of professional teachers by giving them a broad liberal arts education within the framework of the college, and a sound training in one or more specialized areas m which the student is to devote his energies as a teacher.
