Four decades and nine years ago, our founders brought forth upon these acres, a new dream conceived in necessity and dedicated to the undergirding of education with a Christian philosophy of life. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us - that from these honored men we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave their full measure of devotion. It is for us, the living, rather to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they have thus far so nobly advanced.
