Mrs. Rogers is NOT just another pretty face. 1. “But I don’t want to leave now.” 2. Mr. and Mrs. Turnbull arc working hard to keep the school in cA[a1 ing €iVaues I i Education in MCS is constantly chang- ing for the better. The teachers and stu- dents use their own special skills and talents to make learning interesting. Stu- dents have tried to better themselves aca- demically. This year the school district will con- struct two new classrooms that will help solve the problem of teachers without classrooms. The construction of the rooms will change the flow of everyday life at MCS; however, the short term disruption will provide a long term benefit to the students and teachers of MCS. The infamous U-list is affecting more students this year. Students are working hard to stay off the U-list so they can have a social life. Academics play a large role in athletics because all athletes must maintain a passing average weekly in or- der to participate. In many ways, MCS is making waves. We are rolling in for some new changes and better education. '-C'J. iK A 'i ‘ 0 order. 2—Opening

tAfalyng This year, the student body is cross- ing new horizons. New and different things are cropping up all over. And this year we’re wilder than ever. We are trying new' things from Jams to Mohawks. We even are working on new' ideas for learning. School spirit is blooming and showing up in added support for all activities at the school. Parents from all over the community are attending concerts, plays, sporting events; even people who no longer have school age children are here. Lat- er this year a support group composed of all kinds of people will be w'orking to re-do the school playground, ball courts, and athletic fields. Human Development’s nursery school helps out everyone. Erica—“I’m not small; the locker’s are big.” 4—Opening
