Deacon Mildred Williams conversing with Mrs. Johnston and Mrs. Hopper. 4. Okay . . . now take 3 giant steps backwards. 5. You want us to play it again? 18—Hands Around M.C.S. On May 23, 1986 about 300 M.C.S. students participated in a community event. The students gathered together food to give to the needy. The elementary kids each had a helium balloon with an explanation of our goal tied to it, and all together they were let go. Balloons have been found as far away as Canada. The families that found the balloons have sent back money and food. The day turned out to be one of sharing and car- ing.

Spring Spectacle 1. Kelly Sullivan and James Gregory—Prom Queen and King 2. Jessica Joy and friends playing games at the prom. 3. Bryce Frederick taking all he can get. 4. Amanda on the arm of James Gregory. 5. Our own barbershop quintet. Last spring’s activities were a success to all in- volved. The prom was a lot of fun. For the first time in a long time it was held outside of Morris at the Elk’s Club. Many couples attended and danced the night away to the music of Section 8. Also the spring musical—“The Roaring Twenties”—drew a large crowd. The cast had a lot of fun, and the audience loved it too. They were called to a command performance for the senior citizens.
