Here we are the leaders of the Sixth Grade Safety Patrol Guards. OUR PLACE Well, We've made it to our place, SIXTH GRADE! We're not little kids anymore, and we're looking forward to Jr. High. We have a lot of responsibility being on Safety Patrol. We make sure the younger children get to school safely. Some of us are very busy in band and chorus, but we can always find time to talk to a friend, or share a laugh on the playground. We look forward to our trip to Washington in May, and all the new friends we'll meet. For this year, sixth grade is the place to be in 83. And, we're not com- plaining one bit SIXTH GRADE I'm on Safety Patrol. So there! I'm cool! Do you understand the plan, yet? 18 6th Grade

This year we're trying a combina- tion grade due to the fact of two all day kindergartens. Mrs. Moskos is the lucky teacher and we are the lucky 4th-5th combination. The fourth grade is busy learning spell- ing and history which they'll need later. This year we'll also learn how to play the recorder. While the fourth grade is out making music the fifth grade is out exploring all the trees in the Morris area. What fun! W A Oh O X E- Uh l-H Uh TRYING SOMETHING NEW 5th Grade—17
