CLASS HISTORY In 1966, 16 out of the 36 students who are graduating this year started kindergarten together. Our teacher was Mrs. Vanburen. The biggest thrills of those days were crackers milk and naptime. Next year we graduated to first grade and Donna Madison joined our class. We then advanced to second grade, the year of the treat shop, which taught us to be business people. Next came third grade, when we went to the Fanner's Museum and the Woodland Park. When fourth grade rolled around, we were able to go out on the playground with the big kids . Tim Church joined our class and we went to Rogers Conservation Center. In fifth grade we went to Herkimer Diamond Mines and dug for diamonds! In sixth grade Perry Page, Steve Warley, Bob Mitchell, and Clover Williams joined our class. That year Mr. Brodrick tried to teach us to be scientists and we also took our safety patrol trip in the spring, WOW! Seventh grade came along with Mark Balbuena and Bill Shinnick. We all thought it was great to be upstairs. Little did we Know! Diane Stachina came in eighth grade, the only other event being another trip to the Farmers Museum. On to ninth grade, we were finally in high school! We started playing sports, cheerleading, singing, and getting involved in things. Bill Canfield came in tenth grade. We were still progressing and competing at our own interests. Eleventh grade was our tough year. We developed the system to get us through. Molly Brett and Linda Harlow couldn't resist joining our class this year. We made it! We finally reached the top! This year we do it all, the senior trip, the play, plus all the other activities we are still involved in. When we graduate in June and go our separate ways, we will still have the memories of each other and the days we spent together at good old MCS.
