JOKE VAN HEDEL Rotary exchange student from Beverwijk in The Netherlands For every exchange student the most important thing is the school of course. And I sure was lucky to come to Morris Central School. I wouldn't have liked to trade with any other exchange student. I want to thank everybody for making this year such a wonderful experience for me; all the members of the faculty and the staff, and every single student. It has been the greatest year of my life and I'll never, never forget the way I have been received here. I hope that everybody who comes to Europe, will come to the Netherlands and visit me. I'd like that so very much! I can promise you a very nice time too, because my country really is wonderful, and there are lots of nice things to see. You might like to hold your finger in the dike in our back- yard, or skate between the windmills on wooden shoes and silver skates. Seriously, The Netherlands is very worthwhile to visit, so please if you have the chance, do! I am going to miss the school and you all terribly but I am determined to come back as soon as I can, and then I hope to see you all again. So I won't say Vaarwel , but Tot Ziens”.
