foreword June, 1964, marks the culmination of thir- teen years spent in varying degrees of work and play, all designed to prepare us to be un- leashed upon society. Throughout these, our school years, we have gained interests and friendships that will influence us for the rest of our lives, and in doing so have sustained experiences that will afford us many memo- ries, for the most part pleasant ones. The Morrisanian staff has attempted to capture some of the essence of our school days in the hope that your yearbook, in the years to come, will help you recall some of the things that have made our years at Morris Central happy ones. Principal's Message Each successive year finds a different group of high school seniors at the threshold of a new era in their lives. Formal secondary school training for you, the class of 1964, Morris Central School, is at an end, and you are now facing new and challenging years ahead. For many, the pursuit of higher education will require more intensive studies in new en- vironments where you will rely on your own initiative, perseverance, and determination to find success. For others, a training period in some branch of the military service will re- quire similar effort on your part. Those of you who become employed will also face multiple responsibilities. Your success in any of these ventures may well depend on how your high school training combined with your ambition, talents, and re- sourcefulness has prepared you. I challenge you to set your goals high and be prepared to keep pace with the rapid changes of the times. Warren Ryther, Principal
