Not Pictured Henrietta Olds. We the class of '58 hereby dedicate this yearbook to Mr. McElroy. The recollection of all the stumbling cadences, flatted chords and halting movements with which he has been confronted and has helped to set straight during the past six years would shatter the composure of anyone less kindly, patient and understanding than he. A wise man once remarked that an education is what you have left when you've forgotten all that you learned. He meant among other things, the inspiration of a teacher's character. He could have had no finer prototype in mind that this remarkably selfless man whose complete dedication to others has been a profound inspiration to his pupils, an example to his colleagues, and a credit to his profession.
