Senior Class Will We, the seniors of nineteen hundred and fifty-five being of improved and weary mind as a result of four years of arduous search for the golden nuggets of wisdom, now in spirit of magnominity do hereby bestow upon those who are left to mourn our loss, the following bequest. To the Juniors, we will our senior dignity. To the Sophomores, we will our ability to climb to the top. To the Freshmen, we leave our success in making good enough grades to become seniors. To the School, we leave our respect and honor. To the Teachers, and the Principal, we leave our many thanks for their patience and teachings which will never will be forgotten by the seniors. The following may seen but trifling bequest, but we hope they may be accepted, not worthless things lavishly thrown away because we can no longer keep them, but as valuable assets to those who may receive them, and a continual remainder of the gener- sity of heart displayed in our free and full bestowel. To Miss Annie Looney, The seniors leaves a bouquet of red roses to show the love and kindness we have for her. To Gearldine Wilson, Bonnie Rackley leaves her last years gum. Just look underneath the desk she occupies and you will find it there. Geneva Henderson, leaves her red hair to Lynna Roper and to Mary Allen she wills her ability to catch a boyfriend. To Mr. Ashmore, Robert Stroud wills his basket rules and to Bob Huffman he leaves all of his old girlfriends. To Nell Church, Norma Reynolds leaves all of her engagement rings. Poor Nell better get her a paper bag. To Garner Massey, Issac Hammond leaves some material to write a theme on next year, and to Lucille Church he leaves his old leather jacket. Bettye McCoy, wills her large vocabulary to Wanda Blankinship and hopes she will make good use of it and to W,D, Kincannon she leaves all her good manners such as chewing gum and eating candy in class, May he never get caught. Patsy Ramsey, leaves her ability to skate to Lynn Roper and to Lucille Church she leaves her collection of all worn out books and maps. To the Faculty, the Class leaves the Juniors. May they enjoy them as we have, And to the whole school we just leave. 10

Senior Class Prophecy On the day of June 22, 1983, twenty-eight years after our graduation I was flying over Washington D. C. on my flying saucer when I looked down and saw the president of the United States. The president in the year of 1983, was Mr. John Robert Stroud. I flew on through Washington and New York. I visited the Stork Club, and who did I find singing and dancing, but my old classmate Geneva Henderson. I went from there to Houston, Texas, whom did I find playing football in a World Series Game, but Isaac Hammond. I decided to take a rest after that so I went to the City Drive Inn Cafe and whom do you think I found as waitress and owner, but Bonnie Rackley. The next morning I went for a ride out in the country. I visited a big ranch, it was the Lazy Z Ranch. Who did I find as owner but Patsy Ramsey. She said she was happily married and was enjoying herself as a ranch owner and wife. From there I went to Hollywood. Whom do youthink I found making an appearance ? It was Norma Reynolds. They are all expecting her to make Betty Grable, Marilyn Monroe and Betty Davis appear dull compared to her beauty. While I was out West I stopped at the Bar -Nothing Rodeo and found Bettye Lois McCoy and her husband taking in the sights. I found out later that she had until lately, been a bulldogging contestent, but had given it up for a more lady like profession of hunting a husband. When I ask her if she had any luck she said no, she caught one. For some reason, I don't think she's satisfied. She kept telling about the ones that got away. I had seen all my classmates by this time, so I went back to good old Jerusalem tired, but also very happy after seeing all my friends 11
