Morrill Yearbook 1979 Principal' s Message This year has brought us more improvements to our school facilities. The outside painting contract has transformed our phisical environment. Architectusl plans are nearly complete for our new Gym and Band Room. More 1mportant,I see this psst school year as being the beginning of our school pride. The initiative shown by students in making suggestions for improving the Rest Rooms and assuming responsibility for maintaining themin a clean and orderly manner is to be congrstuslated. We need to apply this kind of responsibility to our cafiteria behavior. When we Bct in a Huy that shows consideration for others and not simply our own selfish convenience,we are truly growing up. I look forward to our being able to continue this growth in Morrill Pride and Spirit for our Student Body. Congratuations to all of you and best wishes to our graduating Sth Grade students. I have a special feeling for this graduating class, since you entered Morrill at the asme time I did - in September of 1976. He've come s long way together. William B.
