It came in With a ROAR at the beginning of the school year in Septem- ber and finally quietly padded out in May. In sports, Bernie Hunnel Won the 127-lb class, in wrestling, at state and Gary Williams won the Gold Medal for all classes in the mile at the state meet. Queen Pat Deines reigned over the homecoming activities, and the athletic king and queen were Greg Jackson and Lydia Bare. . The juniors Worked all year in several money-making projects to make the prom possible . The gym was completely trans- formed and the decorations were beautiful. The sophomores managed to show up all other classes in the intramural track meet this spring when they racked up a total of 96 points. The fresh- men took secondg seniors thirdg and juniors fourth. Finally, the end of school with a series of last times for the seniors graduating, and empty halls. The mighty LION can rest now that he did his job well.
