This Sceptre marks the departure of the senior class. It is therefore only fitting that it be dedicated to the man who has guided them over the rough spots to a great year. This man, who has been at Morningside since it was founded seven years ago, has put in countless hours in after- school appointments and in helping students with their problems. His ever-present smile and his sound advice have been an inspiring example. After three years at Inglewood High, he came to Morningside where he was the advisor to the first freshman class. His work with the language department, with the Spanish Club, and as a counselor have made him a real force in school life. We gladly dedicate the 1958 annual to- MR. TONY LaFERLA
