SOPHOMORE DAY The day's activities got under way with a boxing basketball game for men held in the qym, and for the women there was a peanut race and a basket- ball game. After the hapless freshmen had been duly paddled and painted, the barbaric horde descended upon Bass Field, either to witness or to participate in the Cane Rush. The very eventful day was cli- maxed by a dance at the Lillian E. Dimmitt Hall.

Nt :f-,L fl Il NEW ACOUAINTANCES BIG and LITTLE SISTER TEA The annual Big and Little Sister Tea was held in the drawing room at Lillian E. Dimmitt Hall This affair is sponsored by Agora and is held every fall for the purpose of introducing new students to the upperclassmen. Before the school year commences, all the returning girls are assigned a little sister from the group of incoming girls. It is the duty of the big sister to acquaint her little sister with the traditions and customs of Morningside. MISS MILLS POURING
