Superintendent Superintendent Ewing is now in his second year as head administrator at M. S. H. S. Mr. Ewing got his start on the road to becoming a teacher by attending Tarkio college in Missouri where he received his A. B. degree in Economics. While attending Boulder, Colo- rado he received his Master of Science degree in Busi- ness Administration. Mr. Ewing took his school ad- ministration training at the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Mr. Ewing is still futhering his Doctor- ate degree during summer school in Denver. Mr. Ewing taught and coached in several schools before becoming Superintendent of schools in lowa and one in Illinois. Mr. Ewing then returned to Iowa, M. S. H. S. , to be exact, where he now holds the post of Superintendent. The Seniors would like to thank Mr. Ewing For his help and guidance throughout the 69-70 school term. NSCHOGL DAYS Principal Watching over the Study Hall and teaching Physics again this year we find Mr. Wayne D. Allen. Mr. Allen has been Principal at M. S. H.S. since 1965 to present date and was Superintendent from 1929 to l947. Mr. Allen received his Bachelor of Arts degree in l924 From the University of Iowa. Later, he did graduate work at both Iowa Wesleyan and the University of lowa. ln i924 Mr. Allen taught in Wayland before coming to M. S. H. S. in l929. From i947 he was editor ofthe Morning Sun News Herald. The Class of '70 wants to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Allen for all his help that he gladly gave to us over the years. Qmfs1msamwfsx T,
