Union by the score of 13-7. After a second win over the Columbus Wildcats, the Tigers lost two more games in a row losing to co-champions, Wapello and Lone Tree, the respective scores being 19-6 and 30-18. At this point the Tigers began to jell as they rolled to five straight wins. They rolled over New London in our homecoming game to the tune of h5-26, which was one of the highlights of the season. Dennis McDonald, Tiger fullback, was the rushing leader in the state in Class II football. NMoosen finished the season as second leading rusher in the state overall. ALL-CONFERENCE BOYS The Tigers were honored with seven all- conference selections. Those selected to first offensive team were, end Tom Leeg tackle, ! Bruce Stotlarg and fullback, Dennis McDonald. 7 Those selected to first defensive team were, end, Mark Minnisg tackle, Bruce Stotlarg and line backer, Jim Biggerstaff. Two other boys were selected to second team all-conference. They were, end, Rick Inghram and fullback, Donnie Dill.
