Num yt M 1 f R GIRL AND BOYS OF 1967 AL SELLERS MARGARET MCCLURE TOM LEE The deserving seniors elected to represent the Class of 1967 were Al Sellers, Margaret McClure and Tom Lee. Al Sellers has been active throughout his high school years here at Morning Sun. He participated in wrestling for three years. He also participated in football and track during his freshman and junior years. During his freshman and senior years he played baseball. A1 played the bass horn in band for three years. This year he had the honor of being band president. Al sang in the Boys' Glee Club his freshman year and three years in the Mixed Chorus. His junior year Al held the office of Class President. Al held lead parts in the class plays during his junior and senior years. Al also had the honor of presiding over the Student Council his senior year. Al was top salesman when the seniors sold magazines. when the seniors held the Spring Swing Dance, he was chairman and saw to it that everything kept moving. Al plans to attend Iowa University this fall. Good luck All Al is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sellers. Margaret McClure was most active in the music department. She was honored last spring when she was chosen to play with the United States Navy Band. She was a twirler in the marching band and played first chair clarinet in the concert band. She has been in various small groups and has received division I ratings for her clarinet solos. She has participated in Mixed Chorus and Girls' Glee Club. Margaret has also participated in basketball, softball and track. Margaret was honored when she was chosen as one of the queen candidates for the Homecoming. She was a cheerleader during basketball season of her senior year. Margaret was very helpful in preparing the 1967 Tiger. She also was in both the Junior and Senior Class Plays. She was also librarian for four years. During her junior year she was on the Student Council. Margaret plans to attend the State College of Iowa this fall. Best of luck to you! Margaret is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert McClure. Tom Lee was very active in sports. He received the honor of being elected to first team All-Conference in football and basketball. He also participated in baseball where he played shortstop. He kept on his toes during track season. Tom was head drum er in the concert band. He participated in Mixed Chorus and Boys' Glee. Tom was on the Student Connell for two years. Tom was editor of the 1967 Tiger. He participated nl, gwrier and senior years in the class plays. Tom received the award or Citishmshfp this year.
