F 7-gf f I jj' Y : xv f i L 5 1 I gl Class History ' .- A bright, sunny morning in the fall of 1946, five students trotted proudly up the steps of Morley Consolidated School. The five students were: Bobbie Bailey, Donald Wells, Maynard Van Antwerp, Helen Capron, and Judith Bunting. Miss Elsie McAnulty was our teacher, and Mr. Blanchard, our music teacher. A During 1947 and '48, ten students were in second grade. During this year Charles Stivers, John Clary Nancy Stickley, Stephen Walker, and Bill Catlett joined our class. Again Miss Elsie McAnulty was our teacher and our new music teacher was Mr. Wright. In third grade, during 1948 and '49, we were joined by Allen Joslin. Those who left us were Donald Wells, Judith Bunting, John Clary, Nancy Stickley, Stephen Walker, and Bobbie Bailey. Our teachers were Miss Vivian Wacha and Mr. Whaley. Rita, Russell and Arnold Pye joined us in 1949 and '50 when we were in fourth grade. Other class members that year were: Bill Catlett, Allen Joslin, Charles Stivers, and Maynard Van Antwerp. Helen Capron left us . Music teacher was Mrs. Amber Barger, and our home room teachers were, Miss Ruth Eloise Tenley, Miss Vivian Wacha, Mrs. X Morrison, and Miss Vera Covell. I I In 1950 and '51 , we were in fifth grade with Mrs. Thelma Pillard for our teacher. Miss Mary Florence Ament and Mrs. Amber Barger were our music teachers. Our class consisted of Rita Russell, Allen Joslin, Arnold Pye, Maynard Van Antwerp, Charles Stivers Bill Catlett, James Hoppe, Larry McCormick, and Paul McConaughy. The same year Paul McConaughy and James Hoppe left us. Mrs. Amber Barger and Mrs. Wilma Russell were our teachers in sixth grade. Dixie Stewart, Rita Russell, Allen Joslin, Bill Stewart, Bobbie Conner, Larry McCormick, Maynard Van Antwerp, Bill Catlett, Arnold Pye, and Charles Stivers were in our class that year. Those who left us during the 1951 and '52 school year were: Dixie Stewart, Bobbie Conner, Larry McCormick, and Bill Stewart. s Darlene Jayne joined our class in 1952 and '53 , while we were in seventh grade. Teachers that year were Mrs. Thelma Pillard, Mrs. Wilma Russell, Mr. Dale Greenawald, and Mr. Clayton Ridout. Janice Wilken joined us in eighth grade. The 8 students that year were: Janice Wilken, Rita Russell, Darlene Jayne, Arnold Pye, Maynard Van Antwerp, Allen Joslin, Bill Catlett, and Charles Stivers. Our teachers that year were, Mr. Dale Greenawald, Mr. Clayton Ridout, Mrs. Priscilla Bair, and Miss Florence Miller. In 9th grade we had the same 8 students. Our teachers were, Mr. Dale Greenawald, Mr. Clayton Ridout, Mrs. Wilma Russell, and Miss Florence Miller. In 1955 and '56 we had the same 8 class members again. The teachers for that year were, Mr. Harry Arnold, Mr. Dale Greenawald, Miss Florence Miller, and Mrs. Wilma . Russell. ' Our teachers for 1956 and '57, were Mr. Dale Greenawald, Mr. .Charles Wood, Mrs. Wilma Russell, and Miss Florence Miller. The class members remained the same. Our last year we had Mr. L. D. Greenawald, Mr. L. D. Black, Mrs. Wilma Russell, and 'Miss Florence Miller as our teachers. The class members are as follows: Darlene Jayne, Rita Russell, Janice Wilken, Bill Catlett, Allen Joslin, Arnold Pye, Charles Stivers and Maynard Van Antwerp. V ' A I ' I I
