HALLOWEEN CARNIVAL The annual Halloween Carnival was held on October 30 in the gymnasium, We seniors had the cork dip and basket- ball goal for our stands this year, The juniors had charge of concessions and the duck pond, the sophomores chose the gold fish toss and the fish pond, while the freshmen were busy with their spill the milk booth and boxing ring The highlight of the carnival was the crowning of the queen who was Rosalee Kinnett She chose for King a senior Linn Bogg The senior attendants were Martha York and Shirley Gourley The junior clas chose Io Anne Wells and Georgiana Tracy sophomores were June Wells and Patty Baker and the freshmen were represented by Mary Hamilton and Bonita Campbell The queen wore a white formal and her attendant were attired in pastel formal After the crowning the crowd dispersed and again we claim another successful carnival for our school exams? MINSTREL SHOW A minstrel show was given by the members of the SSS March 7th, There was a large crowd and the show was a success, Al- most all ofthe members were in it or had something to do back stage, The sponsors were Mrs, Cleek and Mrs. Oryall.
