The previous coach (Coach Jones) had just produced two championship teams. So what docs he do? He wins the CIAA Championship for swimming for Morgan for the last time, be- cause this year there’s a new conference, the MEAC. This is a rebuilding year for him with one senior, four juniors, four sophomores, and thirteen freshmen. Upon asking Wayne Mitchell, one of this year’s team captains, who were the outstanding swimmers on the squad, his answer was, Outstanding! S—, they’re all outstanding.” The team went to the championship with high hopes and did, indeed, bring home the first MEAC Swimming Championship. i Name Class Horn flown Allen Baker Soph. It is hoped that this annual will relate the ideals, desires, and frustrations of the student body 1971-1972. The task of completing the yearbook was not an easy one. Many times the obstacles seemed endless, but we continued to work. Long hours, busy hours and late hours because our staff was hard working and dedicated. We also had our laughs, for we were the first to see the photographs. I hope the Seniors, faculty and administration and underclassmen will accept. To the staff, our advisor Mr. Hollis, and friends, wish to say thank you for your dedication, cooperation and hard work. It was a challenge and a job well done. 275 CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 1972 GRADUATING CLASS WHITE COFFEE POT RESTAURANTS BEST WISHES TO THE CLASS OF 1972aw. IIENDA MION 131' Em Him Avnw: udm.
