February 16, 1970 To The Class of 1970 Morgan State College Baltimore, Maryland 21212 Dear Seniors: We are sharing one thing in common in this year of 1970 and it is that we are leaving Alma Mater....you for the first time by way of graduation and for me it will be a second time. My first was for graduation and now my second leaving is for reason of retirement. It has been a great privilege and a gratifying and satisfying experience to work with the Class of 1970 and with many other Morgan students during the past twelve years that I have served as Director of Student Union and Student Activities. My thoughts go out in memory to the dedicated faculty members who served as inspiration to me in my undergraduate years. As I have worked with you and many other students, again, I am inspired by your deep interest and concern and I feel confident that you will go forth from Alma Mater and make a worthy and creditable contribution in this period of time when the needs are so great.
