Since the last session of the General Assembly of Maryland, these signal and unlistanding honors haw been bestowed on Dr.AMai'tin David Jenkins. First ho was appointed by President Dwight Eisen- hower as a member of the President's Commission on Veterans' Pensions, undm- tho Chairmanship of General Omar N. Bradley to recommend to the President policy relative to all aspects of veterans' benefits. Next, Dr. Jenkins was decorated by President William U. S. Tubman of Liberia as a Knight Commander of the Humane Order of African Redemption for outstanding service in higher education, and contributions to amicable international relationships. now, therefore be it Resolved by the Senate of Maryland.
