It re- veals the Morgan campus and community which has been the setting for four fruitful yean of the class' progress toward substantial academic achievement and social growth. For the Class of 1962. the yearbook has the in- tense meaning of reflecting incidents that began in 1958 and which can be expressed in Caesar's terms, 'Vini. Vidi. Vici; I came. I saw. I con quered. From our respective high schools wc came to prepare for professional careers: medical, social, teaching, engineering, dentistry, business or economics. This preparation began when wc. the upper classmen's Bunnies''and ā€œDogs marched around Hughes Stadium in the annual Promethean Pro cession with lighted candles whose continuous light symbolized four years of fruition. It seemed that the light of each candle gave the perspective for tlu succeeding years, and against the pcrspcc live appeared all the achievements of the members of the Class of 1962 collectively ami individually which added to intellectual and social growth. Some of us joined clubs and organizations anti Ixxanic officers. A few of us warranted member- ship in the freshman honor society. Promethean Kappa Ton. and the national honor society. Alpha Kappa Mu. Above all. most of us met the require- ments of cadi class anti passed from the Freshman (.lass to our present stage of the Senior Class. Through our simultaneous academic and . social growth, wc have made the conquest, the attainment of knowledge in our chosen fields, which will lead us into the professional career we desire. 5 Table of Contents TITLE PACE 1 THEME 2 DEDICATION 4 FOREWORD 5 BUILDINGS 7 ADMINISTRATION 11 Board of Trusters 12 President or the Cou.ec.i 15 Administrative Personnel 16 SOCIAL SCIENCES 19 Heads of Departmi-vin 20 Faculty 21 Seniors 22 Activities 55 NATURAL SCIENCES 55 Heads of Departments 56 Faculty 57 Seniors 58 Activities •19 HUMANITIES 51 Heads of Departaievt 52 Faculty 55 Seniors 54 Activities 60 GREEKS 71 RELIGION 77 Who' Who Among Student in American Colleges and Universities 78 MISS MORGAN 79 CAMPUS QUEENS 80 R. o. r.
