Ray was the great big bone-crusher who was always the first one through the line in all of our football games. His ability was indeed appreciated by the whole school, especially in the unforgetable contest with St. johns. Although he was only in the Academy a year, he made many friends on account of his modesty and amiable manner. JOHN l. BROWN .... Buck Born january 1, 1921, in Chicago, Illinois. Entered M. P. M. A. last September from Hirsch High School, and his congenial disposition has won many friends. He played drums for the band until he decided to Join Captain Storr's Red Horse Troop.
