The sorority started the swing in September with their annual Convention Banquet and Installation of Officers at the Blackstone on September 23, and an annual dance at lndian Hill Country Club the 24th of September. Bushing concluded, they pledged five girls. They held mock initia- tion on December 3, followed by Formal Initiation on Sunday, December 4, at the Blackstone. During Christmas vacation they had a Christmas party. In February, rush- ing again, pledged tive more. The annual Winter Frolic was held at the Del Prado Hotel on February 4. In the past year, MOB men have held the presidency of the lnter-Frater- nity-Sorority Council Cboth semestersl, presi- dency of the Commerce Club, Men's Club and Engineers Club, with membership on the Student Council and Men's Club Board of Governors. MOBS have taken part in football, baseball, rifle, ping pong and chess activities. The fraternity sponsored an an- nual dance at the Lincolnshire Country Club. The next iam session occurred in Ianuary as a finale to finals. The scene . . . the Southmoor. The traditional teas, rush parties, and formal initiation at the Sherry augmented the social whirl. As en- thusiastically they plunged into preparations for a card party last fall and came through with flying colors land dollarsl . . . the success's total went into the lane Long Memorial Scholarship Fund. and active on lay Cee campus. The Eta Iota Chapter, organized in 1934, now has an active membership of over thirty men. Social activities of the chapter for this year included participation in rushing activities, the annual Beta Rose Ball, two closed dances, and Halloween and New Year's Eve parties. Beta sponsored baseball and basketball teams.
