First Row: McClure, Rand, Kiefer, Maack, Houslceeper, Dryburgh, Stressenreuter, INTERFRATERNITY-SORCRITY COUNCIL Fall OFFICERS Spring George Mills - President. - Harold Houskeeper Ieanne Sammons - - Vice-President - Ida Mae Maack Kathryn Dryburgh - Secretary - - Kathryn Dryburgh Betty lane Scott Treasurer - Charles Kiefer The Inter-Fraternity-Sorority Council is made up of delegates from the sororities and fraternities, and its primary interest is to promote fraternal friendships among these organizations. The first function of this organization was to plan the dates for rushing activities. This year rushing was changed to the second week of each semester. An all-school mixer was sponsored by the Council with a floor show given by members of the fraternities and sororities. The pledges fur- nished the entertainment of their next dance on April 14, the proceeds of which went to the school's educational fund. The Council Wound up the year's activities with a dance at the Wedgewood Hotel on May l9. t35l

The aim ot the sorority is to promote friendship and to enrich the personalities of its members. The past year was made socially success- ful by several events. The Christmas Dance, held at the Furniture Mart was given by all ot the chapters. Delta members swung it at the Chicago Beach Hotel to the music ot that teller Heller on April 28. The annual Mother's Day luncheon and the dinner dance in Iune finished up activities for the year. Phemfor broth- ers have been well represented in the school activities in the past year, having Harry Roebuck, a feature writer on the Fortnightly as well as the vice-president of the French Club, and lack Reynolds, vice- president of the Zoology Club. The Beta Chapter has also been well represented in various sports of the school with lack Dona- von as assistant football coach.
