Nancy Denning, as vice- president, directed a successful prom and class banquet, while Leon Mink, secretary, took minutes for all the Senior Council meetings. Mary Miller, class treasurer, drew up the budget and Collected class dues. Iohn Hokanson was chairman of the senior commencement committee, Bob and lim Nesbit, of the assembly committee, Theresa Werner, of the announcement committee, Ernest Burgin, of the cap and gown committee, and lean Kreger, of the gift committee. The graduates presented Empehi with a hand microphone and a scholarship trophy as commencement gifts. Nancy Denning's ready smile and friendly hello rank her among Ianuary's most popu- lar seniors. Besides being a first rate pianist, she is vice-president of the class, clerk of the per-A onalitiu ffm Denning Zcxchman Student Court, and a member of the National Honor Society. An all-around girl, Ieanne Kreger has had many honors during her years at Empehi, such as: President of Tau Epsilon and Girls' Emblem Club, secretary-treasurer of Quill and Scroll, treasurer of Flounders, chairman of the 4A gift committee, secretary of the social committee, first page editor of the Empehi News, and a Na- tional Honor Society membership. Leon Mink proved his popularity in his freshman year when he was elected president of Flounders. He has been president of Boys' Emblem Club, secretary of his class, a division room officer, and a football star. The man with the horn , lohn Zachman, president of the Senior class, and leader of the Iazz Band, is also distinguished as president of Latin Club and the Concert Band, division room chairman, and a member of the National Honor Society. .,., ..,.
