During the past year Ernpehi has advanced in a rapid pace as it must do to keep up to the minute in this modern crazed World. The country's finest lecturer, an outstanding male chorus, and a star of the legitimate theater have appeared in its assembly hall. Students have pledged themselves to keep America alto- gether American. The star of the football team was a leader in the city-wide All- Star poll. A group of dramatic students broadcast in a Chinese play over a local station. Editors, reporters, columnists, typists, cartoonists, and salesmen produced a better Ernpehi News. The Student Association went from a flying campaign to a circus membership campaign. A newsreel was produced in color. Clubs and societies were formed and disbanded. And as the last event of the year the Annual was edited with a modern theme. One teacher left us in death, two instructors retired, and other friends of the faculty went to strange schools as new friends came to us. ltlllltWlllll ll lllllHWllWMI

Our building was redecorated. The library was enlarged until it now con- tains seventy-three hundred volumes and seats seventy-tive students, stretching from the west corridor to the center corridor. The Student Association office was moved to room two hundred twenty and room one hundred twenty-five became a conference room. Empehi has changed in the past, it did change this year, and it will change in the future, so good-bye, Morgan Park, We have loved you and will love always-good-luck in the future.
