Walter Dickey Helen Banger Polly Stansbury A'llan McNeill XX!!-IGS WHQ JUNE WALTER DICKEY We may be wrong, but it seems to us that Walter Dickey has all the characteristics of a successful business man to be. And we have proof! He was manager of both the baseball and basketball teams-of the latter, for a year and a half. Also, he was an active member of the Finance Committee, nor do we forget his active work in the Hi-Y and Emblem Clubs. In short fas Mr. Micauber would sayj, Walter was an asset and will be a loss to Empehi. May we wish him luck! HELEN BANGER What are we going to do now that our versatile and charming Helen Banger has left us? It is hard to tell. Perhaps old Em- pehi will be able to limp along somehow, but it will be greatly handicapped by her ab- sence. During her stay here at Morgan Park, Helen was Vice-President of her Senior class, Chairman of the Student Court, Treasurer of the Girls' Glee Club and the Dancing Club, as well as a member of the Pep Committee, French Club, Tau Epsilon and Girl Reserves. PAULINE STANSBUPLY Polly is so tiny that it is a wonder she made her voice heard in this congregation of lum- bering huskies we call Empehi. But, she cer- tainly did. You see, Polly is very musical. Not only does she sing, but she plays the piano beautifully, as well. She was an officer in the Girls' Glee Club, and took part in several operettas-usually a leading role. Also, Polly was Vice-President of the Stu- dent Association. She was a member of the Dramatic Club and on the Executive Com- mittee. ALLEN MCNEILL Could we have a complete Who's Who without the name of Allan McNeill? Be- fore answering, consider what follows: This tall, handsome lad has become a well- known ligure around Empehi and his ab- sence will be keenly felt. He,s the top in baseball and basketball. Besides being an outstanding athlete, he managed to rank high scholastically. Allen was a member of the Emblem Club and the Senior Hi-Y. His is one honorable membership added to the lists of members of which these two organizations can boast. oooEMPEHI1935 ooo

FEBRUARY CLASS The popular captain of the football team, Jack Schwartz, held the position of president of the February Class of '35. Betty Tred- well Was the vice-president and in charge of the social functions. Doris Holtsburg was the secretary and Frank Fitch, as treasurer, was chairman of the budget committee. The seniors who were in charge of the various committees were: Adele Scott, ring, Barbara Wilcox, commencement, Jane Long, announcements, Muriel Burns, senior day, Caroline Smeck, assembly, Jack Kinsella, prom, and Donald Duffey, class gift. The February Class gave a successful prom at the Ridge Park Field House and a hilarious senior assembly. The Senior Class Day con- sisted of a Kid Day and a social that brought the events of their High School career to a climax. The last remembrance the school holds of these outstanding seniors is their donation of money to the stage for their class gift. JUNE CLASS The largest class to graduate from Morgan Park was the June Class of 1935. The of- Hcers of the class included: Herbert Cornel- ius, president, Helen Banger, vice-president, Dorothy Johnson, secretary, Walter Dickey, treasurer. The chairmen of the various com- mittees, elected by the Senior Council, Were: Thomas Jacobs, ring, Walter Hamilton, commencement, jack Penson, announce- ments, Ruth Reinhardt, senior day, Allen McNeill, assembly, Doris Nyvall, class gift. Helen Banger and Walter Dickey were chair- men of the social and budget committees re- spectively. At the time this annual Went to press plans were incomplete, but it had been plan- ned to spend one hundred dollars for a class gift, and to sponsor a spring dance.
