JOHN RUDIN- Cupid DeLacey in Sylvia, member of the Orchestra, the Band, the S. A., the Walking Club, and the French Club, Walking Club Play. John is very musical and has always been interested in the musical organizations of the school. Also, he is SOME bluifer! John is going to Columbia University. ROLLIN SANFORD- Lefty President of the S. A. 1920-19215 Manager of the Foot- ball Team 1920. Lefty is one of our very popular boys. He is a good manager-proved by his manage- ment of the Senior Dance in the winter, and his man- agement of the S. A. and the Football Team. Lefty goes to Illinois this fall where he will not only have a good time, but will also make friends. ALBERTA SCHULTZ- Babe Treasurer '18-'19, member of the S. A., the Walking Club, and the Glee Club. Beneath Alberta's calm, re- served manner, there lies a mischievous, extremely in- teresting, and sweet personality-so say those who know her well. Although Alberta's future is not yet decided, she is going to New York very soon and we are all sorry to see our class-mate and school friend depart. Come back soon! EMMA SMITH- Em Business Manager of Empehi 19215 Basketball '19-'20, member of the S. A., the Walking Club, the Girl Re- serves, and the Glee Club. As a student, Emma is a wizard -especially in Math. She has shown herself to be a willing, hard worker on the Empehi Staff and has always been much interested in school activities. She is going to Northwestern where she will surely do big things. 15

ESTHER PRABEL- Slivers Secretary of the Senior Group '20-'21g President of the Walking Club '19-'20g member of the S. A. and the Glee Club, Polly in Sylvia, Pinaforeg The Courtship, Artist on Empehi Staff. To attempt to tell all about Esther's record would be out of the question. As an artist, as a student, as an actress, and as a singer, she has been extraordinary. Her work as an artist on the Staff has been extremely important and we are glad to say that Esther intends to go to the Art Institute next year. We expect great things from you, Polly! DOROTHY PRIMM- Dottie Class Basketball '17-'18, '18-'19, '19-'20, member of the Walking Club, the Girl Reserves, and the Glee Cluog ' ' df sition and is a Pinafore. Dottie has a sunny ISDO loyal Empehi-ite. She was in Kansas City during most of her Senior year and we are surely glad that she came back to graduate with '21. She is planning to go to Northwestern University. BARRETT RICH- Root Beer Member of the Walking Club and the S. A. Barrett is one of Mr. Hamilton's shining lights-also stars in Math., he has a high average in scholarship during his four years and can truly be called a scholar. Add to all this the fact that he is the youngest member of the class-aged 16 years and 4 months! We certainly know that Barrett will make a brilliant record at the U. of I., where he will be next year. ANDREW RICHARDSON- Andy Andrew came to us from Morris, Illinois, in his Senior year. At Morris he was active along musical, athletic, and dramatic lines. At M. P. H. S. he has been a member of the S. A., a Corporal in the R. O. T. C., and the Chairman of the Class Night Committee. Andy has made many friends here and we are all glad he came. His future is as yet undecided. 14

MARIE TURN ER- Rec Sylvia, Pinafore, the Dress Rehearsal, member of the S. A. and the Glee Club. We have enjoyed Ma1'ie's beautiful playing on several occasions. She will con- tinue to study at the Chicago Musical College next year and will adopt music as her profession. ERNA URLAND- Ernie Member of the S. A., the Orchestra, the Glee Club, the Walking Club, and the Girl Reserves, the Court- ship. Erna's fiddle has been a source of great pleasure to us all. She is going either to Normal or the Amer- ican Conservatory and plans to be a teacher of music. EDITH WILSON-- Edie Class Basketball '20-'21, member of the S. A., the Girl Reserves, the Walking Club, and the Glee Club, The Courtship. Edith belongs to that class of girls who are very quiet but who surprise us every now and then -witness, her athletic ability, brought to the front this year, and also, her dramatic talent. Edith is going to the U. of I. PEARL MACE Orchestrag member of the S. A., the Glee Club, the Girl Reserves and the French Club. Pearl is a good student and possesses a cheery, sweet disposition. She is going to be a kindergarten teacher and will surely be a good one! 16
