whom we recognrze on second glance as our old classmate Norman Anderson He has been up rn these mountarns ever srnce graduatron and has fmally struck rt rrch Hrs clarm rs estrmated to be worth 556 483 36 Next we head for New York where we have heard of a sensatronal new chef at the Waldorf Astorra Upon arrrvrng we drscover that rt rs none other than Bob Bradley He rs especrally well known for hrs recrpe of Irrsh Goulash a drsh orrgrnated at the 1950 fresh man tnrtratron As we travel southward toward Florrda we chance to see an old 48 Jalopy stalled on the road below Berng krnd of heart we qurckly land to ard thrs poor traveler To our surprrse we frnd rt rs Orlrn Engel who IS now a travelrng salesman for the Tours Jours French Perfume Company Local reports have rt that Orhn rs really lrvrng up to the reputatron of all travelrng salesman Arrrvrng rn Florrda we vrsrt the Jrnglrng Srsters wrnter trarnrng camp Thrs lS the foremost crrcus rn the world today Thrs year as therr specral Ezro Prnza rn the near future Agarn we wrng skyward and thrs trme we are Arrzona bound We are gorng to vrsrt Anna Maye Hanse the great lrterary genrus She has Just completed her 23rd book entrtled Hope the Solutron for Worry In a small town near Anna Maye s home we frnd Ann Jean Harder now better known as Mrs Adolph Creseutwrenchel Anrue operates the Purebred Bulldog Kennel whrch she says rs qurte easy because she has the help of her nrne sons Returnrng to Mrnnesota we stop rn Mrnneapolrs to see the Lakers play Playrng center rs Harlan Hoffbeck who rs acclarmed by all sports wrrters as a second Mrkan He now recerves a yearly salary of S80 000 Saucerrng westward we stop at a lrttle country grocery store rn South Dakota Much to our surprrse we frnd Mrckey Huschke 15 the proprretor She explarned to us that she doesn t plan on stayrng here more than a year We suppose that she has frnally set the brg day As you remember she recerved a dramond from Clarence Brown a mere fourteen years ago Mrckey told us to stop and vrsrt the presrdent of the Raprd Crty Bank as we would probably enjoy seerng hrm We certarnly drd for lt was none other than Donald P Johnson Don tells us that he has frnally marrred hrs hrgh school sweetheart Betty and together they have clrmbed to the top of the el1te Raprd Crty socral set Now we saucer back to Washrngton D C where there IS a frerce battle rargrng on the floor of the House Here Speaker of the House Leroy Koll has been frlrbusterrng for 25 days He rs tryrng to prevent the now aged Sam Raeburn from rntroducrng hrs Equal Rrghts for Women brll On returnrng westward we stop at Chrcago to see some places of rnterest At the Chrcago Zoo we are amazed to frnd that the Keeper of the Monkey House rs Mr Herb Monk Mattke Whrle we are rn Chrcago, we see a brg attracuon at the audrtorrum Dorothy Mererdmg The Most Graceful Woman on Wheels rs tryrng to wrn the world champronshrp roller skatrng crown Glancrng through aCh1cago paper we nouced that a local burlesque was featurrng none other than Bubbles LaRue who we knew better by the name of Janet Menk We are now gorng to stop rn southern Mrnnesota to see Lots Nelson who rs still have all heard about Darla Steffl but rn case you haven t read the latest we w1ll rnform you Dana and her husbandhave become the proud parents of sextuplets The babies who are now srx months old have been named Cresence Chrrstrne, Clarabelle Cletus Clarence, and Clement The nut of the Class of 51 has certarnly changed her ways She has Jorned a select branch of the W T C U Thrs group of courageous women pledge to a hfe of srlence rn order to make up for all the evrl and carousrng 1n the world today In case you drdn t recognrze thrs person it is Jeame Uhlenkamp B111 Zaske who recently recerved hrs doctor s degree rn Grammar and Spellrng, rs now at Yale Wrllram rs reported to have a very good chance to wm thrs year s Nobel Prrze for Educatton Seems as though we picked the rrght person to be Cyan Juifsforg Way back on September Z, 1947, thirty-three eager freshmen entered into Morgan High School to start their forward climb to ahigher education. The election of officers brought out some inte resting results. President named was Bob Bradley, Vice President, Maxine Huschkeg Treasurer, Herb Mattkeg and Secretary, Jeanette Uhlenkamp. Phyliss Menk and Darryl Schwerzler were elected to the Student Council. Many of the freshmen took active part in athletics. The Jr. High Basketball team won the tournament which was held at Fairfax. Thirty-one members returned on September 7, 1948. The two who were absent were Ronnie Zimmerman, who had dropped out the year before, and Maxine Huschke, who decided to go to school out in Washington. The officers elected were:President, Leroy Kollg Vice President, Janet Menkg Secretary, Orlin Engle, Treasurer, Herb Mattke. Jeanie Uhlenkamp and Billy Zaske were elected to the Student Council. Phyliss Menk moved to Franklin during the year. On the sixth day of September, twenty-eight students re- turned to the Junior Class for the '49 and '50 year. Those who dropped from the class were: De rald Schroeder, Charles Staffl, and Audrey Benson. The class officers that were chosen for that year are as follows: President, Darryl Schwerzlerg Vice President, Ruthie Frommg Secretary, Mary Ann Gewe rthg and Treasurer, Maxine Huschke. Mickey had decided to return to her own classmates and friends again. Student Council representatives were Janet Menk and Herbert Mattke. September 5, 1950, twenty-five eager-beavers entered Morgan High to begin their Senior year. Two more students dropped out, namely: Kenny Nolting and Pearl Wendt. Russell Hansen transferred to Winthrop to complete his education. Class officers who were elected to guide the mighty seniors were: President, Harlan I-Ioffbeckg Vice President, Norman Anderson, Secretary, Anna Maye Hansen, and Treasurer, Delrose Ricke. Those selected for the Student Council were Maxine Huschke and Billy Zaske. Florine Ziegenhagen was elected Editor of the annual. The annual field trip to Fair- bault and St. Peter was made on the 10th of November. Skip Day was celebrated by taking in the Ice Follies, On the first day of June the mighty seniors hope to receive a signed diploma in order to graduate into the outside world. 7
