That mischievous boy Hmmmmmm' Once upon a time What do you mean the driver's ed car is missing! “Really? For two and one half years the high school faculty saved their three cent profit from each bottle of soda that was sold in the lounge. What did they do with their small profit? They set out to redecorate their meeting area—the all important Teacher's Lounge. The teachers felt that the lounge was a cold and unfriendly place. They wanted a homey atmosphere, something warm and cheerful. To brighten up the lounge, they laid down new carpet, reupholstered the couch, added tablecloths to the plain tables, and rearranged the furniture. Although most of the teachers took part in the redecoration, two of the faculty added their own unique touches. Mr. Dan Lents add- ed his own distinct personality by donating a few paintings he had done. Mr. LeRoy Viebrock also worked extra hard by constructing the wooden furniture in the lounge. Not only can his talents be found in the lounge, but also in the library. Mr. Viebrock worked during the summer to create the bookshelves, cabinets, and many other wooden items that furnish the library and lounge. Redecorating the teacher's lounge was a success. The faculty's next goal is to save enough of their pop profit to purchase a new refrigerator to replace the decaying one. Because of the new, homey atmosphere of the lounge, it is a comfortable place to relax and visit. Teachers receiving their 24 Faculty
