SOMETHING NEW Being new in a school can be a very scary and nervous time. You never know what people will expect of you, whether they will accept you and like you. A new teacher may have it a lit- tle harder. They must stand in front of many new faces and try to gain our respect. They usually know their jobs and what is ex- pected of them yet gaining our respect takes time and patience. A new class must try and live up to expectations also. The only difference is that they do not have a set pattern, only what we put in and receive from them. They also take time to gain respect. As a whole being new in our school is very hard work. If we try to make them welcome, we who have been here a while and those who are new will be much happier. 14 Classes New Students—Front: Kim Martin, Tina Watkins, Anne Baker, Tammy Metchnikoff; Back: Craig Wallace, David Finch, Doug Gregory, Brian Hoselton, John Baker Above: A new Student.
