QUALITY SHOWS THROUGH Quality is better than quan- tity. This was certainly true for the junior high boys track team There were only six eighth graders and nine seventh graders on the team. The lack of size did not hamper the spirits of those who participated. Every mem- ber on the eighth grade team placed in the top three at least twice during the season. Versailles took seventh place in the eighth grade Laker Re- lays and second at Osage Invitational with a six member team. Jim Derry also became the new school record holder in the 1200 meter run.
