I would like to thank you, the students of Morgan County High, for allowing me to serve you as President of the Student Council. The success of our Student Council activities and projects was made possible because of your support and cooperation. 1 would especially like to thank the individual council members and other officers for their enthusiastic efforts throughout the entire year. I wish for each of you much success and happiness during your remaining school days. I hope that Morgan County High will continue to grow and prosper as it has done in the past. 4

 oreworcf The school year of 1964-65 was basically the same as any high school year; we studied, had fun, experienced sad moments of trial and error. There were games and dances; voices were hoarse from pep rally rooting and singing. There were brief moments of glory for some of us in sports, musical and dramatic productions. All shared the hopeless reality of exami- nations and deadlines, the semester grades, the noontime cafeteria rush. These impressions are only a few that were packed into this full year. Credit for the production of this book goes to the loyal MORCOH1 Staff. The Staff, how- ever, has furnished only the outline of the story that we find when we turn these pages filled with warm smiles of friendship and many happy recollections. The rest is up to the indi- vidual. Underclassmen who return to MCHS in the fall will continue to keep up the high standards of the school and strive for improvements. Graduates will go their separate ways using the knowledge they gained here to reach their successes. It is not today that you will appreciate the MORCOHI. Tomorrow, when it is not so easy to think back on 1965, we will treasure the memories this book has stored for us. PAT PIERSON Editor

As the year 1965 draws to a close, we look back with pleasure upon the events that have filled our cup of memories to overflowing. We have attempted to capture the best and most outstanding of these memories between the covers of the 1965 MORCOH1. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have an advisor as capable as Mrs. Catherine Sims to help us over the rough spots; and we cannot adequately express our thanks to our photographer, Mr. Tommy Putman, whose patience and co-operation with the annual staff were truly astonishing and always ap- preciated. We hope that we have succeeded in our endeavor to present a good annual to you, the students of Morgan County High School. With the sincere wish that each of you will find among these pages something special - something you will remember and cherish for a long time - we give you the 1965 MORCOH1.
