Lively Council Sponsors Junior Olympics, Patio Young student representatives of Student Council became deci- sion makers as they updated the dress code, got an estimate of, and worked on getting the student patio. For money making projects they sold popcorn which they made with the recently acquired popcorn machine. They also sponsored Lick-em Day in which suckers were sold and eaten in class to boost spirit for the Marana game that night. They sold helium balloons at the homecoming game. Most of the money earned will go to the patio building fund, AFS, and various other council projects. Meetings were held every first and third Thursday in the Biology room. Once a month they were held at 8:00 and were open to any interested student or faculty mem- ber. Students were encouraged to come and present all their ideas.
