Glodis received his B.S. in Ed. and M.A. from Arizona State College at Flagstaff. Mr. Glodis teaches U.S. history and world geography. He is varsity basketball coach and coaches the J'.V. football team. He is a member of the Lion's Club and his hobbies are fishing and watching sports events. ...gl v--.J

X RADIATION COUNT ...... Sandra Dolly and Harry Mi Kennedy count the radiation in the leaves of a plant whose roots were exposed to radioactive isotopes. Physics students were able to work with radiation because, under a special program, Mr. Galusky received radioactive materials from the government. Physics also provided students with a general know- ledge of what makes things tick. NOW, WHAT 'S NEXT '? .... Chemistry students Linda Ballis, Linda Pingleton, and Linda Troutman, below, proceed with an experiment. Q X ' Teaching both chemistry and physics is Mr. Joseph T. Galusky. He received his B.S. degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College, and his M. S. and M. A. degrees from West Virginia University. Fellowships to study at New Mexico Highlands University and the University of Wyoming were awarded to him. His community activities include Lion's Club, Catholic Action Club, Boy Scout Coun- selor and catechism teacher. His hobbies are reading, sports, trout fishing and attend- ing summer school. 23

During first semester, methods by which organized pressure groups affect action on Z4 different phases of American life are empha- sized.
