nine Seniors The senior c lass of 1953 is unique among senior classes! They are the first class to complete four years of high school in the new Morenci High School. Officers who led the class in their final year of activities, studies and fun were: Jerry Perry, president, Harry Shaver, vice- president, Gloria Maldonado, secretary, and Ann Zimmerman, treasurer. Class sponsors were Mrs. Rose Berra, Miss Jean Glover, and Mr. Patrick Maguire. During the year various members of the class took an active part in all school ac- tivities, and served as officers of various organizations thus giving the underclass- men the advantage of their experience. The social high lights of the year were the Senior Banquet given by the Seniors and the Junior Prom given in honor of the sen- iors by the Junior Class. Appropriate dec- orations were used and a clever program made it a memorable evening.
