The defending conference champions opened their seasonon Sept. 19 with a victory over Lords- burg and from there were off and on the victory trail till Nov. 21. They finally finished with a 4 won 6 lost record. The Wildcats were sparked by Captain Wild Bi 11 Tucker, who was named captain of the Eastern Conference Team, halfback on the Class B all- state team, and the most valuable player in the State's B ranks. Playing their last season for the red and black were tackles Lito Rios, Tony Paz, Jerry Perry, Guard Robert CampbelI, Backs Ray Mejia, Bill Tucker, Curtis Walden, Ends, Teddy Hayes, Jim Ballard, and Center William Moore.
