Under the direction of Miss Glover, the G lee Club furnished music for many of the special assemblies held during the year. Small vocal groups and soloists entertained at several of the civic clubs. The annual presentation of Handel's glorious M e s s i a h on December twentieth was the combined effort of Glee Club, Chorus, Orchestra, and interested townspeople.' Everyone agreed the Messiah was as lovely as ever. In April, the Glee Club attended the Eastern Arizona Music Festival atThatcher and again re- ceived many compliments and high honors.
