Seven Initiated To National Honor Society New National Honor Society members Catharine Quinn, Beverly Watkins, Markette Kirby, and Marguerite Gualdoni, with Mrs. Park, sponsor, display the society's emblem. Scholarship and participation in school activities are required for membership in the Honor Society sponsor of the Copper Cat. Members sold popcorn at all home football games. The initiation of eligible seniors into the National Honor Society in an impressive ceremony was aspring high- light. Seniors must have made the Honor Society fifteen times before the second semesterof theirsenior year, to be eligible for membership and show qualities of character, scholarship, leadership, and service . Seniors initiated into the National Honor Society on February 14 were Mar- kette Kirby, Patty Loose, Rosine Gualdoni, Marquerite Gualdoni, Beverly Watkins, John Haley, and Catharine Quinn. Mrs. Louise Park was the faculty advisor, and Patty Loose was the Student Council re- presentative .
