How they looked forward to that date in December when those bright and shining class rings would arrive. The style they chose had a raised emblem offset by rose gold carvings with raised sides protecting the MHS. Several membersof the class chose rings with ruby, sapphire, and onyx stones. The class gave a Halloween party that was enjoyed by the student body and faculty mem- bers who were present. With May came the big event of the year the Junior Prom. The queen smiled beauti- fully as Doris Redden, last year's queen, placed the crown on her head. Earlier in the evening the juniors were guests of the seniors at the annual Senior Banquet. 24
